Google Cloud opened a private preview of OpenAI's models in Model Garden, covering GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6.1 Sol, GPT-6 Luna and Codex workflows. Customers can pay with existing Google Cloud spending commitments through the Marketplace, which is the commercially interesting part: a committed Google budget can now buy a competitor's models. General availability is planned for the coming weeks. AWS and Microsoft have sold the same models since September. Neither company has published pricing or the terms of the arrangement.
